This week we are kicking off an elementary wing expeditionary project. We are going to be learning about the Northeast Native Americans. We are learning about the Iroquois and their six nations. We will be learning about their customs, way of life, housing, foods, festivals, dress, language, and where they lived. We are super excited for this cross-curricular project that will take us a few weeks to complete. Keep an eye out for all the exciting things we are learning and creating. I will try to do daily posts to keep you up to date. Ask your child what we have been up to!
Our eggs arrived and we successfully unpacked and counted them. We carefully got them situated in their "redd" and we are excited to see how our project turns out. We are learning all our brook trout and their habitat in our science class. This week we conducted a web quest to learn more about our state fish. Lots of exciting activities to come!
